PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in the reaping work of the lying grain culm in a paddy field in which, when a cutting blade plunges into the field, sludge is deposited on the cutting blade, breakage and abrasion are caused on the cutting blade by the deposited sludge, and the cutting blade does not function and may not cut the grain culm to push it down.SOLUTION: A combine is provided with a reaping device 4 before a traveling device 2 and is provided with a threshing device 3 in the upper part of the traveling device 2. The reaping device 4 is provided with a grass divider 7 arranged in the front part, a raising device 8 arranged in the rear side of this grass divider 7 and a star wheel 9 and a cutting blade 11 arranged in the rear side of the raising device 8. The combine is characterized in that a sludge sensor 20 for detecting the presence or absence of the deposited sludge on the cutting blade 11 is provided in the front upper part or front lower part of the star wheel 9, and also a sensor arm 21 included in the sludge sensor 20 and coming in contact with the sludge is formed in a circular arc shape protruded to the front side in a plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】湿田での倒伏穀稈の刈取作業において、刈刃が圃場に突っ込んだ場合、刈刃上に泥土が堆積し、堆積した泥土により刈刃に破損や摩耗を来したり、刈刃が機能せず、穀稈を切断できずに押し倒すことがあるという問題がある。【解決手段】走行装置２の前方に刈取装置４を設け、走行装置２の上方に脱穀装置３を設け、前記刈取装置４には、前部に配置した分草装置７とこの分草装置７の後側に配置した引起装置８と引起装置８の後側に配置したスターホイル９および刈刃１１を設けたコンバインにおいて、前記スターホイル９の前部上方または前部下方には、刈刃１１上に堆積した泥土の有無を検出する泥土センサ２０を設け、該泥土センサ２０に備えた泥土に接触するセンサーアーム２１を、平面視で前側に突き出る円弧形状に形成したことを特徴とするコンバイン。【選択図】 図３
