Offenbart ist ein HF-chirurgisches Instrument (1), mit zwei zueinander in eine Schließstellung bewegbare Instrumentenbranchen (10, 12), die jeweils mit zumindest einer Elektrode (18, 20) bestückt sind und mit elektrischer Energie von einer Energiequelle (24) versorgbar sind. Erfindungsgemäß weist das HF-chirurgische Instrument eine separat ausgebildete Überbrückungseinrichtung (36), insbesondere eine, vorzugsweise maschinell bestückbare, Leiterplatte (34) auf, die über zumindest einen elektrischen Anschluss oder zumindest eine elektrische Leitung (22) mit der Energiequelle (24) verbindbar ist und zur Versorgung der zumindest einen Elektrode (18, 20) mit elektrischer Energie zumindest eine elektrisch leitfähige Kontaktstelle (26, 28, 30, 32, 33) aufweist. Dabei ist die Überbrückungseinrichtung (36) in zumindest eine der beiden Instrumentenbranchen derart einbringbar, dass die zumindest eine Kontaktstelle mit der zumindest einen Elektrode (18, 20) elektrisch kontaktiert wird.
