PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot beverage having warm feeling-retaining effect giving warm feeling to a consumer and retaining the warm feeling for a long time mainly in cold winter season, in a room excessively cooled by an air conditioner, for a person who hopes to enjoy feeling of getting warmer.
SOLUTION: The hot beverage having warm feeling-retaining effect is such as to be heated to &ge50°C but <100°C when taken, contain piperine derived from piperaceous plants at 35-140 &mug, and have a content of &ge100 mL but <500 mL. The hot beverage contains fruit juice, vegetable juice, tea, cereal, sugar and acidifier or sweetener to be easy for many people to drink. Taking the beverage rapidly enhances warm feeling and makes the warm feeling retain for a long time.
