PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect that a hook is taken out from a storage position even when a wire is not pulled out from a reel.SOLUTION: A wheel chair fixing device for a vehicle includes a plurality pieces of wires 12 respectively having hooks 12f at their edges, a reel structured so as to be able to wind up each of the wires 12, and a cover member 4 having openings 4k through which the wires 12 are passed, and fixes a wheel chair to the vehicle by hooking the hooks 12f on the wheel chair and rotating the reel in a direction of winding up the wires 12. On the surface of the cover member 4, hook storage parts 5 for storing the hooks 12f respectively, is mounted.
