A pair of dental pliers for use by a parent to extract a non-permanent toothfroma child's mouth. The dental pliers include a left leg and a right leg that arepivotallyengaged with each other. Each of the left and right legs has a handle and ajaw. Thehandles are fabricated from a flexible material that flexes when too muchforce isapplied thereto when moving the jaws to a closed position. The flexiblehandles thuslimit the amount of force that may be applied to extract a tooth. The jawsinclude jawtips that taper inwardly toward each other and angle downwardly from thehandles.The jaw tips include angled interior surfaces that define a cupped regionshaped to beable to contact a base of the tooth during the extraction process. The pliersare ableto be cleaned and sanitized in a dishwasher after use.
