Rickettsia sibirica subsp. sibirica Baevo-107/87 strain is isolated from imago of Dermacentor marginatus ticks. Baevo-107/87 strain is successfully cultivated on cell culture of Vero E6 and developing chick embryos. Strain is deposited in the State collection of II-III bacteria of pathogenicity of Federal State Budgetary Institution Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after Honorable Academician N. F.
