The present invention is directed to a method of treating or reducing gait degeneration in a human patient diagnosed with a high baseline disorder score that is associated with relapse-relieved multiple sclerosis (RRMS) and which complies with the Kurtzche Expanded Disability State Scale (EDSS) Comprising periodically administering to a patient diagnosed with having a high baseline-score of failure only a predetermined amount of raquinímode effective to treat the patient or to reduce gait degeneration.
