The purpose of this invention is to provide a front thin rod which is lightweight, has sufficient rigidity, and has a rod tip with highly sensitive deflection when sustaining fish bite and facilitating distinguishing fish angling, and a fishing rod having the front thin rod. Particularly, the front thin rod of this invention comprises: a rod tip part made of metal material and comprising a solid part of any length at least disposed at the rod head side； a rod tip holding part having a cylindrical shape and formed by fiber-reinforced resin material； and a joint part made of any one of the metal material or the fiber-reinforced resin material for jointing the rod tip part and the rod tip holding part.本發明其目的為提供一種輕量且具有充分的剛性，且具有承受魚咬鉤靈敏度佳地撓曲，魚上鉤容易分辨的竿梢之前頭細竿及使用前頭細竿的釣竿。更具體為本發明的前頭細竿包含：以金屬材料形成，且包含至少配置於竿頭側的任意長度的實心部之竿梢部；藉由纖維強化樹脂材料形成之圓筒形狀的竿梢保持部；藉由金屬材料或纖維強化樹脂材料的任一種形成，接合前述竿梢部與前述竿梢保持部之接頭部。
