PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VOC detoxifying apparatus that can maximize removal efficiency of VOC.SOLUTION: The VOC detoxifying apparatus 10 comprises: a VOC detoxifying furnace 12 having a gas-to-be-treated flow passage 28； a pair of heat storage materials 32； a heater 34 disposed between the pair of heat storage materials 32； a pair of gas-to-be-treated introducing pipes 14； a pair of gas-to-be-treated discharge pipes 16； a pair of VOC adsorbents 18； a pair of air introducing pipes 20； a pair of valves 22 for the gas-to-be-treated introducing pipe, which alternately repeat a state where any one of gas-to-be-treated introducing pipes 14 is closed； a pair of valves 24 for the gas-to-be-treated discharge pipe, which repeat an opened/closed state reverse to that of the valves 22 for the gas-to-be-treated introducing pipe； and a pair of valves 26 for the air introducing pipe, which repeat an opened/closed state reverse to that of the valves 24 for the gas-to-be-treated discharge pipe.
