A tube stabilising device 10 for a tube, such as a cannula or catheter inserted into a patient, comprising a base member 110 fixable to a surface, such as a patients forearm, and a tube retaining member 120 moveably attachable to the base member. The device is configured so that the tube is moveable relative to the base member, to reduce impact of patient movement, reducing bruising or swelling at the tube entry site. The base member 110 may have a cavity 114 to retain a flange 122 of the tube retaining member 120. The tube retaining member 120 may move parallel to the support surface 112 of the base member 110. The tube retaining member may comprise tube receiving portions 130 which are straight 132 136 or curved 134 clips. The clips may be part cylindrical. Base member may be fixed to patient by an adhesive pad. An assembly of two or more tube stabilising devices 10 may be used.
