The scope of the innovation also includes helping the diagnosis of a lot many other conditions. The FEF 25-75 and concomitant interpretation of FEV 1 / FEF 25-75 , FVC/ FEF 25-75 can help to identify many diseases. Therefore, an interpretation algorithm incorporating FEF 25-75 (that has not been tried so far) can really make substantial difference in easy diagnosis of different thoracic diseases. The innovation makes an extension of till date available interpretation of spirometry and adds huge value to its interpretation power for diagnosis of lung diseases.
