The present invention is to provide a method for extracting the structure of teeth automatically from a computed tomography image. The matching rate of the real teeth of a testee to teeth information obtained by automatically extracting the set of teeth of the testee through an image processing in the CT image of the testee used for orthodontic treatment is improved. Thereby, accurate orthodontic treatment is supported and also a variation of the teeth and teeth movement in the orthodontic treatment are quantitatively analyzed.
