PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface liner capable of preventing the diffusion of loose excrement such as loose stool in an absorbent article.
SOLUTION: The excrement receiving body 20 of the surface liner 1a is provided with a plurality of tape-like members arranged in a grid shape, and many through-holes 91 are dispersed and formed on the main surface. Also, the respective tape-like members 2 and 3 are provided with thread-like elastic members 41 and 42 and irregular wrinkles are formed. Thus, on the main surface of the excrement receiving body 20, various recess and projection distributions are formed. When the surface liner 1a is put on the skin surface side of the absorptive article and utilized, solid components of the excrement are detained and stored in the recesses and projections of the excrement receiving body 20. Also, liquid components of the excrement are made to quickly reach the absorbent article through the through-holes 91 or the like and absorption efficiency is improved. As a result, the diffusion of the excrement is effectively prevented.
