To provide an emulsified type hair cosmetic capable of imparting softness well to hair even having a large damage degree, while blending an amino-modified silicone having a high amino content and also capable of inhibiting yellowing with time.
SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic is characterized by blending at least (a) a 12-22C alcohol, (b) a cationic surfactant, (c) a polyoxyethylene sorbit fatty acid ester, (d) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether and (e) an amino-modified silicone having a 0.5 to 3.0% amino content and having the blending amount of the cationic surfactant (b) smaller than the sum of blending amounts of polyoxyethylene sorbit fatty acid ester (c) and polyoxyethylene alkyl ether (d) and a pH value of 3 to 5.
