The detection circuit (22) and the pair of split electrode pads (41,42) are adapted to resonate across a predetermined resonance range. The REM system (50) also includes a controller (24) coupled to the detection circuit (22) and configured to provide a sweeping drive signal to the detection circuit (22) across the resonance s range.
