PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission for intra-row spacing adjustment of a riding rice transplanting machine in which the shaft support strength is increased and the durability is improved.SOLUTION: A transmission for intra-row spacing adjustment of a riding rice transplanting machine is configured by storing an input shaft, a power take-off shaft, an intermediate shaft, an output shaft, a main transmission gear mechanism, an auxiliary transmission gear mechanism and a clutch, in a gearbox. The input shaft, the power take-off shaft and the intermediate shaft are disposed in parallel to each other, and each is supported at both sides in a first wall and a second wall of a counter shape of the gearbox. The main transmission gear mechanism is disposed in the first wall side of the gearbox, and the auxiliary transmission gear mechanism is disposed in the second wall side of the gearbox.
