PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defoamer for a blood storage tank of an artificial lung that is manufactured easily.SOLUTION: A defoamer 20 includes a bag-shaped outer layer 21 whose upper side only is open, including main parts 110a and 110b opposed to each other, and an inner layer 22 arranged between a pair of the main parts, including a pair of sub parts 120a and 120b overlapped on the pair of the main parts respectively, and is made of a continuous single sheet material. Slits are formed between edges on the respective upper sides of the main parts and the sub parts that are mutually overlapped.
