The present invention relates to a pharmaceuticalcomposition for external use which is an organogel containinga fatty acid ester and a glycerolglycerin fatty acid ester, inparticular, a novel transdermally absorbabedle pharmaceuticalcomposition for external use which has a drug such asnon-narcotic analgesics as an active ingredient made inorganogel form containing a drug such as non-narcoticanalgesics as an active ingredient, a fatty acid ester and aglycerolglycerin fatty acid ester, and a method for producingthe composition. The pharmaceutical composition for externaluse according to the present invention can significantlyimprove skin permeability of drugs such as non-narcoticanalgesics and allows a sufficient amount of drug to permeatethe skin sustainably. Moreover,since the pharmaceuticalcomposition is in organogel form, it can be easily applied toa preparation in practice. In addition, the pharmaceuticalcomposition can provide efficient use and the like of drugs dueto a high drug release rate and therefore is highly useful.
