The present invention provides influenza virus antigens derived from at least 5 strains of influenza virus, and one or more compounds of formula (I) [wherein R 1 represents hydrogen or C 1-6 alkyl, R 2 represents C1- 6 alkyl, and R3 represents C1-6 alkyl] or a physiologically acceptable salt or ester thereof. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing this immunogenic composition, a pharmaceutical composition and a vaccine composition containing this immunogenic composition, and this immunogenic composition for preventing influenza virus infection.
