PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to use underwater heater for a water tank for enjoyment which can maintain lower surface temperature of the heater than that of a conventional heater and can warm water in the water tank in a similar manner to that of the conventional heater.
SOLUTION: An underwater heater H includes: a heater body part 1 comprising a heating wire 11 as a heat source example and a built-in heat-resistant member 12 in electric insulation and a heat radiating part 2 laminated to the heat-resistant member 12, comprising a pipe part 21 externally fitted on a portion for heat radiation 121 of the heat-resistant member 12, and a radiating fin 22 integrally arranged from the pipe part 21. The heat radiation part 2 is formed with a metal material with large thermal conductivity and the underwater heater H has a larger heat radiation area than an area of an outer peripheral surface of the portion for heat radiation 121 of the heat-resistant member 12.
