The invention relates to a material-guiding device for seed-spacing drills, for the separation and return of excess material from the spacing elements into the stock of material. The aim is to provide a constructively simple device, by means of which high operating reliability is achieved, even in high speed ranges. The object on which the invention is based is to design a material-guiding device, by means of which excess grains are reliably eliminated from the suction bores and, by the utilisation of centrifugal force, are guided laterally out of the region of the grain-spacing element and fed completely to the stock of material. The object is achieved, according to the invention, in that a material-guiding device consisting of a vertical and a curved part 9, 10 is assigned to a seed-spacing drill unit, which itself has a rotating hollow cylinder 1 with cell-like recesses 2 and suction orifices 4, in such a way that excess particles of material are stripped off and deflected so that they are fed completely to the stock of material 12 (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
