An anesthesia station (1) for one or more laboratory animals, comprising: - an anesthesia block (2) connected to at least one peripheral device (3,4) that receives the laboratory animal, said anesthesia block being able to (2) supplying said peripheral device (3, 4) halogenated anesthetic gases; - means for aspirating the halogenated gases from the peripheral device; - at least one filter (302, 402) having a determined retention capacity of the concentration of organic halogens, said filter (302, 402) being arranged to be traversed by halogenated anesthetic gases from the peripheral device (3, 4) during operation of the suction means; and - a system for automatic determination, in real time, of the saturation rate of the organic halogens of the filter (302, 402), said system comprising: - means for measuring the instantaneous flow rates of halogenated anesthetic gases passing through of the filter (302, 402) at given time intervals; - means for determining the concentration of the halogenated gases retained in the filter (302, 402) according to the instantaneous flow rates of the halogenated anesthetic gases measured in each time interval; - means for calculating the saturation rate of the filter (302, 402) from the concentrations of halogenated anesthetic gases determined in each time interval and the determined storage capacity of the filter (302, 402).Una estación de anestesia (1) para uno o más animales de laboratorio, que comprende: - un bloque de anestesia (2) conectado a al menos un dispositivo periférico (3,4) que recibe al animal de laboratorio, pudiendo dicho bloque de anestesia (2) suministrar a dicho dispositivo periférico (3, 4) gases anestésicos halogenados; - medios de aspiración de los gases halogenados desde el dispositivo periférico; - al menos un filtro (302, 402) que tiene una capacidad de retención determinada de la concentración de halógenos orgánicos, estando dicho filtro (302, 402) dispuesto para ser atravesado por los gases anestésicos halog
