PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic culture medium for horticulture, the medium capable of cultivating plants with a simple structure and process on the basis of foam glass powder.SOLUTION: An inorganic culture medium for horticulture is provided, the mediums all grain sizes of foam glass powder being 4 mm or less. The grain sizes are composed of three sections, more in particular 10 to 47 wt.% of grain size of 4 mm or less to 2 mm or more, 12 to 19 wt.% of grain size of less than 2 mm to 0.25 mm or more, and 41 to 70 wt.% of grain size of less than 0.25 mm.
