To protect the gums from injury during splinting, use the method of isolating the gums with a silicone impression compound. Two-component silicone impression compound is kneaded until a homogeneous mass is obtained and injected into each interdental space using a disposable syringe. Impression compound freezes within 1–2 minutes in the interdental spaces. Для защиты десны от травмы во время шинирования применяют метод изоляции десны с помощью силиконовой слепочной массы. Производят замешивание состоящей из двух компонентов силиконовой слепочной массы до получения однородной массы и вводят ее в каждый межзубный промежуток с помощью одноразового шприца. Масса застывает в течение 1-2 мин в межзубных промежутках. Производят шинирование зубов, после чего из межзубных промежутков извлекают затвердевшую слепочную массу с помощью зонда или пинцета. Способ позволяет уменьшить травмирование десны и обеспечить фиксацию подвижных зубов.
