The present invention relates to an apparatus for removing a volatile organic compound, and to a method for removing volatile organic compound using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus for removing a volatile organic compound, which maximally maintains an oxidative reaction active point of a photocatalyst, and can effectively remove a volatile organic compound with excellent adhesion force of a carbon filter, and to a method for removing a volatile organic compound using the same. The carbon filter coated with the photocatalyst and a discharging plate having a positive electrode are integrally formed.본 발명은 휘발성 유기 화합물 제거장치 및 이를 이용한 휘발성 유기화합물의 제거방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 광촉매가 코팅된 카본필터와 양극을 띠는 방전판이 일체로 구비되어 광촉매의 산화반응활성점을 최대로 지속시키는 것과 동시에 카본필터의 뛰어난 흡착력으로 휘발성 유기화합물을 효과적으로 제거시킬 수 있는 휘발성 유기화합물 제거장치 및 이를 이용한 휘발성 유기화합물 제거방법에 관한 것이다.
