The present invention relates to a wheelchair lifting system for a bus and a bus for the handicapped having the same. An objective of the present invention is to control various factors impeding stability across the entire process from starting to get into a bus to get off the bus while a handicapped person rides in a wheelchair to maximize convenience and comfort of the handicapped person using the bus. The wheelchair lifting system for a bus comprises: a lifting device to lift a wheelchair between a bus floor and the ground at a door of a bus； and a fixing device to fix the wheelchair. The fixing device includes a first and a second stopper separated from each other in the front and the rear direction and installed on a lifting panel for lifting the wheelchair while the wheelchair is loaded thereon to simultaneously come in contact with the lower ends of the rear wheels of the wheelchair loaded on the lifting panel from the rear side and the front side to prevent a movement.본 발명은 버스용 휠체어 승강 시스템 및 이를 구비한 장애인용 버스에 관한 것으로, 장애인이 휠체어를 탄 상태로 승차를 시작하여 하차하기까지의 전 과정에 걸쳐 안정감을 저해하는 다양한 요인들을 제어함으로써 버스를 이용하는 장애인의 편의성과 안락감을 극대화할 수 있도록 한 것이다.이러한 본 발명은, 버스의 출입문에서 버스 바닥과 지면 간에 휠체어를 승강시켜주는 승강장치； 휠체어를 고정시켜주는 고정장치；를 포함하며, 상기 고정장치는, 휠체어를 탑재한 상태로 승강시키는 승강패널에서 전후방향으로 서로 이격을 두고 설치되어 승강패널에 탑재된 휠체어의 후륜 하단부를 후측과 전측에서 동시에 접촉하여 움직이지 못하도록 지지하는 제1스토퍼와 제2스토퍼를 구비하는 것을 기술적 특징으로 한다.
