PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyelectrolyte material having excellent proton conductivity in a low-humidity condition, exhibiting excellent mechanical strength and chemical stability, and capable of achieving high output and excellent physical durability when used for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell; and a polyelectrolyte molded product and a polymer electrolyte fuel cell using the polyelectrolyte material.SOLUTION: The polyelectrolyte material consists of a polymer containing a structural unit represented by formula (P1). The polyelectrolyte molded product and the polymer electrolyte fuel cell using the polyelectrolyte material are also provided. In the formula: Rand Rare each independently a substituent selected from the group consisting of perfluoroalkyl groups or the group consisting of aromatic groups containing ionic groups; and Mand Mare cationic species selected from hydrogen, metal cations, and an ammonium cation.
