PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head support for a surgical bed, which can adjust a holding element safely by an easy method.SOLUTION: A head support 10 for a surgical bed comprises: a first holding element 12 turnably attached for enclosing a first side face of the head of a patient to be accommodated in an accommodation area 32； and a second holding element 14 turnably attached for enclosing a second side face of the head. The two holding elements are so connected to each other in a connected region by a connection element 16 that the connection element 16 may turn the other connection element when one of the connection elements turns.
