The present invention relates to the use of mimotopes in the treatment of β-Amyloidoses including but not limited to Alzheimers disease, whereby said mimotopes are able to induce the in vivo formation of antibodies directed to non truncated Aβ1-40/42, and N-terminally truncated forms AβpE3-40/42, Aβ3-40/42, Aβ11-40/42, AβpE11-40/42 and Aβ14-40/42 without interfering with physiological functions of APP signalling.La présente invention concerne l’utilisation de mimotopes dans le traitement d’amyloïdoses β comprenant, de manière non restrictive, la maladie dAlzheimer, ces mimotopes étant capables d’induire la formation in vivo d’anticorps dirigés contre Aβ1-40/42 non tronqué, et les formes tronquées à l’extrémité N-terminale d’AβpE3-40/42, d’Aβ3-40/42, d’Aβ11-40/42, d’AβpE11-40/42 et d’Aβ14-40/42 sans interférer avec les fonctions physiologiques de la signalisation de l’APP.
