PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and safe pressure wave generator.SOLUTION: A pressure wave generator includes a container 1 injected with a medium capable of transmitting pressure waves, an object 2 arranged in the medium of the container 1, a to-be-heated object 3 with a liquid sealed arranged in the medium of the container 1, and heating means consisting of an antenna part 4 for heating the liquid in the to-be-heated object and a microwave generation part 5. The to-be-heated object is vapor-exploded by heating the liquid in the to-be-heated object to generate a pressure wave, and the pressure wave can be applied to the object 2.
