A combined type domestic aquarium and hydroponic device of the present invention allows hydroponics in an upper part and functions as an aquarium at a lower part, wherein the combined type domestic aquarium and hydroponic device comprises: a transparent water bath installed at the lowest part, and filled with water in which fish live； one to three hydroponic baths disposed above the water bath, wherein hydroponic plants are cultivated in the hydroponic baths； a plant cultivation bath disposed above the hydroponic bath and filtering water of the water bath, wherein tall plants, such as chili peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, and cucumbers, are cultivated in the plant cultivation bath； a water circulation system for circulating the water of the water bath to the plant cultivation bath, the hydroponic baths, and again the water bath； an outer casing on which the water bath, the hydroponic baths, and the plant cultivation bath are placed, and which has a water circulation system, wherein the outer casing allows the water bath to be installed at a predetermined height from the bottom； and LED lamps installed above the hydroponic baths and supplementing the light, which is insufficient indoors, thereby smoothing photosynthesis of the plants. According to the combined type domestic aquarium and hydroponic device of the present invention, the water which gets dirty in the aquarium is recycled for cultivating the plants which are placed above, and thus naturally purified by roots of the plants.
