An oral rinse aid comprising a whitening agent in an amount effective for tooth whitening, wherein the whitening agent is hydrogen peroxide, optionally together with one or more additional whitening agents, and a combination of a first acid and a second acid, wherein the first acid comprises citric acid and the second acid includes phosphoric acid, where citric acid and phosphoric acid are in an amount sufficient to provide a pH of 3-6, and where the mouthwash contains water in the amount of 60-80% .2. An oral rinse according to claim 1, wherein hydrogen peroxide is present in an amount of 0.01-5%. 3. The mouthwash according to claim 1, wherein citric acid and phosphoric acid are present in a ratio of 1: 1 to 1: 10.4. The mouth rinse according to claim 1, wherein the amount of phosphoric acid is 0.01-1.5%. 5. The mouth rinse according to claim 1, wherein the amount of citric acid is 0.01-0.5%. 6.
