A layered adhesive construct includes a backing layer and a layer of a pressure sensitive, hot melt processable adhesive composition. The adhesive composition includes a polar plasticising oil or a combination of polar plasticising oils in a content above 10% (w/w), and 10-50% (w/w) of a polar polyethylene copolymer. The polyethylene copolymer has a melt flow index below 2 g/10 min (190° C./21.1N), and the polar plasticising oil is a liquid rosin derivative, animal oils and derivatives, esters, ethers, glycols, poly propylene oxide, or alpha-butoxy-polyoxypropylene.
