PURPOSE: An apparatus for cultivating seaweed is provided to allow seaweed to be harvested stably irrespective of the amount of sunshine, climate conditions and the pollution state of sea. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cultivating seaweed comprises a light source device required for photosynthesis which has a blue light-emitting diode and a red light-emitting diode arranged on at least one substrate and turns on the diode in turn a supporter for the cultivation of seaweed which is a grid-type carbon fiber support comprising one or a plurality of carbon fiber strands a deep sea water supply pump(1) a CO2 feeder a CO2 stirring device(2) and a deep sea water injection nozzle(3) which injects the CO2 dissolved deep sea water.본 발명은 해조류의 기후와 같은 외부 환경에 관계없이 생육이 가능하도록 만들어 주는 해조류의 양식 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 해조류 양식 장치는 광합성에 필요한 광원 장치, 해조류 양식을 위한 지지체, 심해수 공급 펌프, CO2 공급 장치, CO2 혼합 장치, 심해수 분사 노즐로 구성된 장치로서, 본 발명에 따르면 홍조류 생장에 도움을 줄 수 있는 파장의 빛을 일정하게 조사하면서 생육을 촉진시킬 수 있는 빛을 제공함으로써 대량 양식이 가능하다. 또한 향후 온실가스감축에 도움이 될 수 있는 CO2를 재활용할 수 있고, 대량으로 양식한 홍조류를 이용하여 바이오디젤, 바이오에탄올로 분해하거나 펄프 제조에 사용 가능하다
