PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for tissue ablation.SOLUTION: Body tissue ablation is carried out by the steps of: inserting a probe into a body of a living subject； urging the probe into contact with a tissue in the body； generating energy at a power output level； and transmitting the generated energy into the tissue via the probe. While transmitting the generated energy, the ablation is further carried out by the steps of determining a measured temperature of the tissue and a measured power level of the transmitted energy, and controlling the power output level responsively to a function of the measured temperature and the measured power level. Related apparatus for carrying out the ablation is also described.【課題】組織の焼灼方法を提供する。【解決手段】身体組織の焼灼は、生体の身体内にプローブを挿入する工程と、身体内の組織と接触させるようにプローブを押し進める工程と、ある電力出力レベルでエネルギーを発生させる工程と、プローブを介して組織内に発生エネルギーを伝達する工程とによって実施される。発生エネルギーを伝達する一方で、組織の測定温度及び伝達されるエネルギーの測定電力レベルを判定する工程と、この測定温度及び測定電力レベルの関数に応答して、電力出力レベルを制御する工程とによって、焼灼が更に実施される。焼灼を実施するための関連装置もまた、説明される。【選択図】図１
