PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ant repellent material which can sustain an excellent ant repellent effect over a long period of time, can significantly reduce the use of a chemical agent that imperils safety, is used for various purposes, and has an advantage also in production cost, and to provide an ant repellent polyethylene sheet and a method for producing the ant repellent polyethylene sheet.SOLUTION: A linear low density polyethylene not containing an ant repellent agent or other materials having an ant repellent effect is used as an ant repellent material, and ant repellent properties possessed by the molecular structure of the linear low density polyethylene are applied.
