The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition having an improved skin barrier and a high skin absorption rate, and to a functional cosmetic product produced by using the same, wherein the cosmetic composition includes a snail mucus fermented filtrate produced by inoculating and fermenting yeast in filtered snail mucus as an active ingredient. A snail mucus fermented filtrate according to the present invention has significantly reduced a TEWL value, has shown a decreased value of xeransis which is statistically significant from the second week after an experiment in an naked eye evaluation of a dermatologist, and does not have a difference with respect to other additive raw ingredients when a formulation is produced, so the snail mucus fermented filtrate is effective in strengthening a skin barrier. Moreover, the average absorption rate of the snail mucus fermented filtrate has been increased by 28.91% compared to a snail mucus filtrate, so it is considered that a rate of an active ingredient absorbed to epidermis and intradermal parts is remarkably improved. Accordingly, the composition of the present invention can be useful in producing a functional cosmetic product having an improved skin barrier and a high skin absorption rate.본 발명은 여과한 달팽이 점액에 효모를 접종 발효시켜 생성된 달팽이 점액 발효여과물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 피부장벽 개선 및 높은 피부 흡수율을 갖는 화장료 조성물 및 이를 이용하여 제조되는 기능성 화장품에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 따른 달팽이점액 발효여과물은 TEWL 수치를 유의적으로 감소시켰고, 피부과 전문의 육안 평가에서도 시험 2주차부터 통계적으로 유의한 수준의 건조증 감소치를 보였으며, 제형을 제조하는 데 있어서 다른 첨가원료 상에 차이가 없으므로 피부 장벽강화에 효과가 있었다. 또한, 달팽이점액 발효여과물의 평균 흡수율이 달팽이점액 여과물에 비해서 28.91% 증가하는 것으로 보아 표피 및 진피로의 유효성분 흡수율을 현저히 향상시켰다. 따라서 본 발명에 따른 조성물은 피부장벽 개선 및 높은 피부 흡수율을 갖는 기능성 화장품 제조에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
