PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained release agrochemical granule which is capable of suppressing the initial elution of an agrochemical active ingredient from the agrochemical granule, gradually starting the elution of the agrochemical active ingredient after the passage of a prescribed period and providing a method for application using the granule, thereby developing persistence of effects and reducing phytotoxicity to field crops without lowering the essential controlling effects of the agrochemical active ingredient even when the sustained release agrochemical granule is applied in the initial growth stage of the field crops.SOLUTION: This sustained release agrochemical granule is characterized in that (A) a core granule containing the agrochemical active ingredient is coated with (B) a film substance which is composed of (b1) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin and (b2) 1-100 pts.wt. of an iron powder or a copper powder.COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO【解決手段】 本発明の徐放性農薬粒剤は、農薬活性成分を含有する核粒剤(A)に被膜物質(B)が被覆されてなり、被膜物質(B)が熱可塑性樹脂(b1)100重量部、鉄粉または銅粉(b2)1~100重量部からなることを特徴とする。【効果】 本発明によれば、農薬粒剤から農薬活性成分の初期溶出を抑え、一定期間経過後に徐々に該活性成分の溶出を開始する徐放性農薬粒剤および該粒剤を用いた施用方法を提供することができ、これにより、農作物が生育初期の段階において本発明に係る徐放性農薬粒剤を施用しても、農薬活性成分の本来の防除効果を低下させることなく効果の持続性を図り、農作物に対する薬害を軽減することができる。
