PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of suppressing a temperature rise of a part in contact with a living body while ensuring the insulation between piezoelectric elements.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: a piezoelectric resonator 21 including GND electrodes 211a and signal electrodes 211b respectively provided to two planes in parallel with each other, subjected to array division in a direction nearly at a right angle to the two planes, and transmitting/receiving an ultrasonic wave to/from a human body a first rear side member 24 arranged to one of the two planes with respect to the piezoelectric resonator, and attenuating the ultrasonic wave from the piezoelectric resonator and a heat sink 40 connected to the first rear side member, and dissipating heat of the first rear side member, the first rear side member has conductivity, wherein a polyimide film 23 is interposed between the piezoelectric resonator and the first rear side member, and grooves by the array division are formed on the way of the polyimide film 23.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】圧電素子間の絶縁を確保したまま、生体接触部分の温度上昇を抑制することができる超音波探触子を提供すること。【解決手段】互いに平行な二面に夫々GND用電極211a及び信号用電極211bを有し、前記二面と略直角な方向に対してアレイ分割され、人体に対して超音波の送受信を行う圧電振動子21と、前記圧電振動子に対して前記二面のうちの一面側に配置され、前記圧電振動子からの超音波を減衰させる第1の背面材24と、前記第1の背面材に連結され、前記第1の背面材の熱を放出する放熱板40とを備えた超音波探触子において、前記第1の背面材は導電性を有し、前記圧電振動子と第1の背面材との間にはポリイミドフィルム23が介装され、アレイ分割による溝が前記ポリイミドフィルム23の途中まで形成されている。【選択図】 図3
