An oropharyngeal airway device and related methods. The device comprises: a conduit having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein on insertion into the mouth of a patient the proximal end locates in the mouth, with a front wall of the conduit facing the tongue to forwardly press against the tongue, and a rear wall of the conduit facing the palate. The conduit is convertible between a closed configuration and an open configuration. In use, conversion from the closed configuration to the open configuration opens the rear wall of the conduit, with the front wall of the conduit maintained in position against the tongue.L'invention concerne un dispositif de voies aériennes oro-pharyngé et des procédés associés.
