ABSTRACT - 610699 The disclosure relates to indole derivatives of formula (I) and optical antipodes or racemates and/or salts thereof which are selective antagonists of bradykinin B1, wherein R1- R6 and X are as defined in the specification. Also disclosed is a process for producing these compounds, pharmacological compositions containing them and to their use in therapy or prevention of painful and inflammatory conditions selected from the group including somatic musculo-skeletal pain, low-back pain, repetitive motion disorders, myofascial pain syndrome, arthritis &ndash； including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout - fibromyalgia, visceral pain, inflammatory skin disorders and skin injuries, complications associated with diabetes such as neuropathy, nephropathy, vasculopathy, retinopathy, cancer pain and inflammatory bowel disease.
