PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemisulfate of 5,10-methylene- (6R) -tetrahydrofolic acid in substantially crystalline form, and a pharmaceutical composition and its treatment, preferably a use in chemotherapy. A hemisulfate of 5,10-methylene- (6R) -tetrahydrofolic acid, preferably in substantially crystalline form, at least 80%, preferably 90%, preferably 95%. The hemisulfate having a crystal purity of preferably 97%, most preferably 99% or higher.
