PROCÉDÉ POUR MESURER UNE TEXTURE DE TISSU EN UTILISANT LA SPECTROSCOPIE RMN POUR IDENTIFIER DES ESPÈCES CHIMIQUES D'ÉLÉMENTS DE TEXTURE DE COMPOSANT DANS UNE RÉGION CIBLÉE DE TISSU
A method for identifying the chemical species of various textural elements in a targeted region of tissue wherein a volume of interest (VOI) is selectively excited and a k-encode gradient pulse is applied to induce phase wrap to create a spatial encode for a specific k-value and orientation. The specific k-value is selected based on anticipated texture within the VOI. Multiple sequential samples of the NMR RF signal encoded with the specific k-value are recorded as signal data. The Fourier Transform of the acquired signal data is then taken, wherein for each k-encode, the signal recorded is indicative of the spatial frequency power density at that point in k-space. Each peak in the NMR spectrum is then evaluated, whereby the relative contribution to the texture of tissue in the VOI at a k-value for each chemical species is determined.L'invention concerne un procédé d'identification d'espèces chimiques de divers éléments de texture dans une région ciblée de tissu, un volume d'intérêt (VOI) étant excité de manière sélective et une impulsion de gradient de codage k étant appliquée pour induire un enroulement de phase afin de créer un codage spatial pour une valeur k et une orientation spécifiques. La valeur k spécifique est sélectionnée sur la base d'une texture anticipée à l'intérieur du VOI. De multiples échantillons séquentiels du signal RF RMN codés avec la valeur k spécifique sont enregistrés en tant que données de signal. La transformée de Fourier des données de signal acquises est ensuite relevée, pour chaque codage k le signal enregistré étant indicatif de la densité de puissance de fréquence spatiale en ce point dans l'espace k. Chaque pic dans le spectre RMN est ensuite évalué, la contribution relative à la texture du tissu dans le VOI à une valeur k pour chaque espèce chimique étant ainsi déterminée.
