A surface treatment process for an implantable medical device including a surface dielectric insulating layer, the process comprising the application of ions onto said dielectric insulating layer, the ions being capable of forming an electrostatic charge and locally creating an electric field associated with at least part of the surface of said implantable medical device upon application of a liquid to said surface.La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement de surface destiné à un dispositif médical implantable comportant une couche disolation diélectrique superficielle. Le procédé consiste à appliquer sur ladite couche disolation diélectrique des ions capables de former une charge électrostatique et de créer localement un champ électrique associé à au moins une partie de la surface dudit dispositif médical implantable dès lapplication dun liquide sur ladite surface.
