The invention relates to a cosmetic composition for topical application to the skin, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least an efficient quantity of at least one aqueous extract of rose fruit other than the fruit of the brier rose (i.e. Rosa canina), in particular an aqueous extract of rose fruit of the variety Evanrat or Rosa Jardin de Granville® , as well as to the use thereof in particular to promote and/or enhance the supply of nutrients to the skin, reinforce the barrier function, and densify the extracellular matrix, especially in the area around the eyes.La présente invention concerne une composition cosmétique pour application topique sur la peau comprenant, dans un milieu physiologiquement acceptable, au moins une quantité efficace d'au moins un extrait aqueux de fruits de rose distincts des fruits de l'églantier (i.e Rosa canina), en particulier un extrait aqueux de fruits de rose de la variété Evanrat ou rose Jardin de Granville® et son utilisation notamment pour favoriser et/ou améliorer l'apport en nutriments à la peau, renforcer la fonction barrière et densifier la matrice extracellulaire, en particulier pour la zone du contour des yeux.
