In particular, a squeeze handle (7) is activated (i.e., depressed) so as to cause a blast of gas under pressure to be applied from a gas reservoir (30) to a particular one of the powder-filled chambers of the medication carousel so that a single measured dose of medication is entrained and delivered to the patient.
