Provided is a method for sterilizing a packaging container, said method satisfying energy-saving requirements with consideration for energy cost and initial cost, having a high sterilization performance and being usable in a highly safe dry sterilization system. The method for sterilizing a packaging container comprises: (a) a step for jetting an unsaturated hydrogen peroxide-containing gas into the packaging container to be sterilized so as to bring hydrogen peroxide into contact with the inner surface of the packaging container, said unsaturated hydrogen peroxide-containing gas being obtained by supplying air into a gas phase part in a tank in which a hydrogen peroxide-containing gas having a concentration of 10-200 ppm at a temperature of 10-60oC, preferably 10-40oC (for example, an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution having a concentration of 3-40%) is stored (b) a step for irradiating the inner surface of the packaging container with ultraviolet light and (c) a purge step for jetting sterile air at a temperature of 10-60oC, preferably at room temperature, into the packaging container so as to replace the hydrogen peroxide-containing gas in the packaging container with air.La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé destiné à stériliser un récipient demballage, ledit procédé satisfaisant les exigences en matière déconomie dénergie compte tenu du coût dénergie et du coût initial, ayant des performances de stérilisation élevées et pouvant être utilisé dans un système de stérilisation à sec très sûr.
