PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion device for intraocuclar lens which device can prevent leakage of liquid in the device and can house and store a lens as well as the liquid.SOLUTION: The insertion device 2 includes a main body 12 including a lens housing portion 12b that houses a lens 1 and an insertion cylindrical portion 12c that feeds the lens into an eye, a pushing shaft 16 that moves the lens 1 from the lens housing portion 12b in the front end direction to push out the lens 1 into the eye through the insertion cylindrical portion 12b, and a lens holding member 28 that holds the lens 1, and is placed in the lens housing portion 12b.
