A new circovirus, called porcine circovirus type 3 (PCV3), was identified from sows and aborted fetuses with clinical symptoms usually associated with PCV2 infection. Molecular and serological analysis suggested that PCV3 is widely spread among US pigs. The present disclosure provides immunological compositions and methods relating to their production and administration.
