PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing nano composite material thin film including a nano crystal of HAP having excellent bioactivity and titanium oxide having excellent biocompatibility on a pure titanium substrate or a titanium alloy substrate.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite material thin film including crystalline hydroxyapatite dispersed in a titanium oxide matrix. There is also provided a method for manufacturing a composite material thin film comprising crystalline hydroxyapatite dispersed in a titanium oxide matrix including: simultaneously sputtering titanium oxide and hydroxyapatite in an argon atmosphere of 1 to 100 mTorr so as to form a precursor thin film of composite material having hydroxyapatite dispersed in a titanium oxide matrix and annealing the precursor thin film at 400 to 1000°C so as to form crystalline hydroxyapatite in a titanium oxide matrix.
